2026 December Conference: Identifying and Measuring Meaningful Outcomes in People with Neurodevelopmental Disorders across the Lifespan

Overview:

There is a critical need for feasible, valid, and responsive measures to evaluate meaningful short and long-term outcomes in individuals with autism spectrum  and other neurodevelopmental conditions. This need is more pressing than ever given the importance of identifying what interventions are effective and for whom--recognizing that nothing will work for everyone. Nonetheless, effective interventions exist to support development of language, social, and adaptive behavior skills, as well as to ameliorate psychiatric and medical conditions that commonly co-occur with neurodevelopmental conditions.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide up to date information for clinicians, researchers, and community partners about longitudinal trajectories and outcomes of individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. Talks will cover a broad range of issues related to measure development, and conceptualizing, predicting, and quantifying outcomes that matter to people with neurodevelopmental conditions and their families. This information is relevant to identifying individualized support needs and treatment priorities for people with varied developmental and behavioral profiles across the lifespan.

This conference will showcase a panel of leading clinicians, researchers, and community partners, to inspire improved clinical practice and innovation in research.

This conference will be held online and no part of it will be recorded or available afterwards.

Attendees should be able to attend both days - we do not offer one-day registration.
