The UCSF Center for ASD & NDDs offers state-of-the-art, evidence-based, comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support for people with ASD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities, including individuals with genetic and chromosomal disorders (i.e., Fragile X, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Prader Willi, as well as other chromosomal and genetic disorders). Many of our patients have complex clinical syndromes, including co-existing medical conditions and psychiatric disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD). A unique initiative of our center will be to support our patients throughout the lifespan.
We offer a broad range of services provided by experts in psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, other medical specialties, psychology, social work, speech/language pathology and behavior therapy.
Eligibility for our treatment programs is dependent upon completion of a comprehensive evaluation. This evaluation provides your clinical team with an updated profile of strengths and difficulties, and identifies the most currently relevant treatment goals.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
