Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) Introductory and Advanced training workshops
The ADOS-2 is an observational assessment used to aid in the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders across ages, developmental levels, and language skills. The second edition includes revised algorithms, a new comparison score for Modules 1-3, updated protocols with clearer administration and coding guidelines, and a new toddler module. This training series is appropriate for clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, social workers, behavior analysts, and other clinicians/researchers working in ASD assessment.
Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R)
The ADI-R a widely used and well-validated semi-structured parent interview. The ADI-R has been found to be useful in differentiating children and adults with ASD from those with non-ASD diagnoses, especially when used in combination with direct observation tools like the ADOS-2. UCSF offers both introductory and advanced trainings for use of the ADI-R in clinical and research purposes.
