Tara is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) at The UCSF Center for ASD & NDDs. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Marquette University in Milwaukee. She obtained her Master of the Arts degree in Teaching and Special Education from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a degree as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from Stony Brook University in New York.

She was an Adjunct Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, where she taught graduate level courses in applied behavior analysis. Her previous experiences included serving as the Director of Program and Services as at The Julie and Michael Tracy Family Foundation, a consultant at Have Dreams as well as the Director of The Autism Program of Illinois. Tara brings her extensive experience in the areas of education, training and supervision of individuals with ASD to the center to better serve individuals and their families.
