Parent Education and Support

We provide parent support and navigation services to help you locate and connect with resources in the community. We also offer individual and group services to help you navigate the system, provide support, and connect you with additional services. One group that we offer is:

  • First Steps: A ten-week program that provides information, support, and education for parents of children under six who have recently been diagnosed with ASD. Parents participate in expert-led discussion on the most critical topics for families of newly diagnosed children. They learn about characteristics, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), accessing services in the community, and how to begin improving communication and reducing problem behaviors.

UPCOMING GROUP: APRIL 3, 2024 from 12:00-1:30pm

Autism Spectrum Disorder and related diagnoses pose a broad array of challenges for the individual with the diagnosis and their family. Our goal is to help you on this journey. We want you to know you are not alone.
